What is Systematic Investment Plan or SIP?
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a vehicle given by mutual funds
to assist shareholder save regularly. It is just like a returning
deposit with the bank where shareholder put in a small quantity each
month. The variation here is that the quantity is invested in a mutual
fund. The lowest quantity to be invested could be as small as Rs 100 and
the frequency of asset is usually monthly or quarterly.
