Nifty close off 6700, in a rising market
Indian markets continued to rise strongly. The Indian market
closed at a new high for the fifth consecutive session being managed. The first
series of expiry of April, the last trading session of the week was a great
boom. With nearly 1 per cent level of Nifty closed at 6696, before the closing
level of Nifty 6700. With the Sensex gained 125 points to close at 22 340.
Most of Sensex gainers were Tata Power, Hindalco rose 4 per
cent. SBI, NTPC has gained more than 3 per cent. Close to 2.25 per cent in
Bharti Airtel saw a great boom. Among the worst fall, Bajaj Auto, ONGC, which
is about 0.5 per cent weak? HDFC Bank, HDFC and ITC saw weakness.
Most climbers PNB Nifty rose 6.5 per cent. The Bank of Baroda
gained more than 5 per cent. Tata Power, Hindalco, UltraTech Cement and closing
with a gain of more than 4 per cent are managed. The Cairn India, Bajaj Auto,
ONGC, ITC, Jindal Steel and rolling stock are the most on Google.
