What Is Demat Account and Stock Trading Account
In India, Stock and securities are detained electronically in a
Dematerialized ("Demat") A/C, instead of the shareholder taking physical
ownership of certificates. A Dematerialized A/C is opened by the
shareholder while registering with a speculation agent (sub-agent). The
Dematerialized A/C number is quoted for all transactions to permit
electronic agreements of deals to take put. All investors would have a
Dematerialized A/C for the reason of transacting Stocks.
